About Local Roots

Local Roots Farm sits on the flood-prone banks of the Snoqualmie River, near the town of Carnation - about 25 miles from Seattle.

Founded in 2007, Local Roots is a diversified vegetable farm. We grow a wide variety of vegetables, herbs, fruit, and now chickens on about 5 acres of land. We deliver fresh, delicious, and healthy food at local farmers markets, through our Community Supported Agriculture program, and to local restaurants.

You can find Local Roots produce at Seattle farmers markets, restaurants, and at Madison Market co-op.

Again in 2009 we have partnered with Madison Market co-op member-owners in a unique workshare/Community Supported Agriculture program. Co-op members volunteer time on the farm and in return we deliver a harvest to the produce department each week of the season.
