2010 CSA Info

We are currently full for the 2010 CSA season. For questions about our CSA or to put your name on the list for 2011, please send an email to csainfo@localrootsfarm.com

Local Roots' Community Supported Agriculture program runs from early June to mid-October. Each week, members receive a box of fresh-picked vegetables and herbs from our farm. We have delivery sites in Capitol Hill, Phinney Ridge, and Maple Leaf. Members may also pick up on our farm in Carnation. See sample boxes and pickup locations

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I pick up my box late/the next day?
Pickup must be made by 9 PM. Unclaimed boxes will be distributed elsewhere. If you are delayed on your pickup day, contact Siri and we will try to accommodate you.

What do I do with my empty box?
Bring a reusable bag to your pickup site and transfer your veggies there. We collect and reuse the boxes. If you forget a bag, take the whole box home with you and return it the next week.

What if I'm out of town for a week?
Pass it on! It's fine to have someone else pick up your box - just let him or her know where to go and what to do. If you know in advance that you will be absent for more than two weeks this season, you may pro-rate your subscription. Arrangements must be made at time of final payment
