Local Roots Community Supported Agriculture
May 2013 UPDATE Our CSA is now full for the 2013 season. Space may open up once the season begins, so if you'd like to be added to a waiting list please send an email to siri @ localrootsfarm.com. For details about our CSA, view our 2013 flier.
Our CSA season is about 25 weeks long, from June through November. Shares are sized to feed a family of two to three people (larger size is available). Expect seven to ten different items each week. We grow more than 50 different crops, from lettuce, broccoli, and carrots to tomatoes, zucchini, and corn. All the produce in our CSA boxes is grown on our farm about 20 miles outside Seattle in the beautiful Snoqualmie river valley.
What's in a box? For a complete list of each week's box contents from our 2011 season, click here.
We share most of our CSA pickup locations with Tonnemakers Family Farm Fruit CSA. You'll sign up for fruit separately, directly with Tonnemakers, but we coordinate our pickup schedule so you can get both boxes at the same time, same place.
Egg CSA
New for 2013, we are offering an add-on or stand-alone egg CSA. Details can be found in our CSA info flier. To learn more about our laying flock, click on the Eggs link above.

"-I like the personal connection with the farmers. I know who grows the food I eat. -The CSA is not enormous. It is small enough to feel almost like a family."
